Tróia
The Troia Peninsula (Peninsula de Tróia) is one of the most beautiful coastlines of Portugal, with a 13km stretch of pristine sands, crystal clear waters and pine forested sand dunes. Troia is a wonderful holiday destination for visitors who seek tranquillity and seclusion, combined with a touch of class.
The peninsula is convincing with it’s casino, hotels, restaurants, the swimming pool and especially with it’s white unique sand beaches facing the Atlantic Ocean. Also the Marina de Trója is creating an unique atmosphere. A walk through the evening sun with the view to it’s yachts is something we definitely recommend.
On the beach, you can relax under one of the umbrellas available there. Enjoy the white sand and breathtaking beauty that surrounds you. From here you can see the Serra da Arrábida, a mountainous beauty that slopes down to the Atlantic Ocean. Sometimes, either from land or on a boat trip, you can still see the roaz dolphins, a species that lives in the Sado estuary with a high level of protection.
Tróia beach is considered as one of the best urban beaches in the country. It is certified by the annual award for Praia de Tróia-Mar da Bandeira Azul. Water quality, environmental quality and accessibility are guaranteed on this magnificent spot.
